Resolved Question: Nerveous about cage for quaker?
answers.yahoo.com says: I would like to purchase a quaker parrot. either a baby or there is this one about 9 months old. I was looking at this cage because it seemed pretty big and was a starter kit. I have seen this cage at a pet store but would like to know if the cage was big enough to keep the quaker in it most of the day except for about 3-4 hours. There will be a few toys and perches! i will be playing with him for the 3-4 hours he isn’t in the cage and when he is in the cage i will make it a loving environment he will love to be in. I will still talk to him and watch him while he is in the cage. I do go to school so that is why i was wondering if this cage was big enough. We don’t want the bird to be flying around the house because we don’t want him to get hurt or possibly killed (if he accidentally flies into our ceiling fans or something). When he is out of his cage, my door will be shut, the windows will be closed, and the fan will be off. I don’t want to clip his wings because i find that a little cruel and i never have a window open. the link is below and i would love for someone to help! Oh!!! i have done plenty of research and know a lot about this species of bird and i also know a lot about their diet. If you could also answer some of the questions i posted above and will be writing down lower it will be greatly appreciated!
